Gaurav is an alum of the University of New Hampshire - Franklin Pierce School of Law, where he earned his master’s degree in Intellectual property, Commerce & Technology. He leads the intellectual property (IP) practice at the firm and does so with intense sincerity. Gaurav specializes in entertainment, information technology laws, international licensing, and criminal IP enforcement measures. He has been actively involved at the International Trademark Association (INTA) where in the past, he served as the Vice-Chair of the Enforcement Committee of the INTA; and is a member of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APPA) where he holds a committee leadership position

He graduated as a rank holder and a Gold Medallist from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, where he dedicated his time to perfecting the art of advocacy. Soon after, he enrolled with the Delhi Bar Council and has over 15 years of professional practice experience to date. Gaurav has been invited as a resource person at the Kerala Judicial Academy and has been a speaker at INTA conferences and CIPAM (DIPP – Govt. of India) as well.

Gaurav strongly believes that a lawyer cannot provide good advice until they place themselves in the positions of their clients. With the experience of several years working with esteemed firms, he brings to the table ethical and logical solutions. As a lawyer, Gaurav consciously invests his efforts to focus on the solution rather than the problem itself, for ‘Peace has no price;’ is a sentence he often repeats. He deeply values empathy, and while he bravely suggests corporate firms to not settle when it comes to family disputes his approach takes a more humane turn. He takes into consideration the emotional values associated with the parties, an ability that lawyers often lack. He credits this learning to his father who motivated him to learn unconventionality.

A tea lover and a teetotaller, his interests travel far beyond just his academics and work. Gaurav has a deep passion for music and admires most genres. This artistic flair is not a rare sight; in fact, he often uses his extra hours to play the piano or record songs at his home-based studio setup. It is this passionate productivity and a committed approach that makes him someone who is not satisfied by stagnancy.
